The MoU was signed between Namwon City, the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, and participating companies in the 2025 Drone Demonstration City Project: DFL Corporation Co., Ltd., Vololand Co., Ltd., AstroX Co., Ltd., Ohsung Gijeon Co., Ltd., Enertech International Co., Ltd., AMP Co., Ltd., EO System Co., Ltd., and Tops Communication Co., Ltd.

[Namwon = Newsis] Reporter Kim Jong-hyo = Namwon City in North Jeolla Province is strengthening its collaboration with domestic drone manufacturers that are leading the commercialization and globalization of Korean-made drone airframes, in preparation for hosting the “DFL K-Drone Racing” competition and related events.
On the 17th, an MOU signing ceremony was held at DFL Corporation in the Noam Industrial Complex in Namwon City. Participants included Namwon City, DFL Corporation, and companies selected for the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport’s 2025 Drone Demonstration City Project—Vololand Co., Ltd., AstroX Co., Ltd., Ohsung Gijeon Co., Ltd., Enertech International Co., Ltd., AMP Co., Ltd., EO System Co., Ltd., and Tops Communication Co., Ltd.
Namwon City and the participating companies discussed various cooperative measures to promote the development of the domestic drone industry and the activation of drone leisure sports. They agreed to collaborate on hosting the “DLF International Competition” in Namwon, fostering sustainable growth in the drone leisure sports sector, and building a local drone ecosystem.
A city official stated, “By closely cooperating with key companies in the drone industry, Namwon City aims to solidify its position as the leading city for drone leisure sports and play a central role in driving the advancement of Korea’s drone industry. We will work together with domestic drone companies to successfully host the K-Drone Racing competition at the 2025 Namwon International Drone Festival.”
